 ITINERARY :
                  

Day 1 :  Bangkok – Ayutthaya –Lop Buri - Phitsanulok – Sukhothai ( B ) ( private tour )

Important Note : Proper attire is essential , Shorts , Sleeveless , mini skirt and sandal are not allowed, women please wear skirts or Thai Sarong

07.30hrs. : After breakfast and check out . Pick up from your hotel . Leaving Bangkok to Ayutthaya World Heritage

( Thailand’s 2nd Capital ) . Visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace and Ayutthaya World Heritage . A part of Ayutthaya Historical Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under criteria III as an excellent witness to the period of development of a true national Thai art.

Bang Pa-In Summer Palace also known as the Summer Palace,is a palace complex formerly used by the Thai King . Bang Pa-in Palace is ancient palace back to Ayutthaya era. This palace was built by King Prasart Thong and then it was rebuilt by King Mongkut after

it’s abandoned for long time. The palace is divide into 2 zone one is inner zone that for royal family to use as a resting place the other zone is outer zone that open for normal people and tourist.  Then further to  Ayutthaya UNESCO World Heritage  and historic capital of Thailand .

You will also visit 3 majors famous of Ayutthaya Wat Mahathat . Wat Mahathat ( Temple of the Great Relics ) , apart from being the symbolic center where the Buddha’s relics were enshrined . Wat Mahathat was also the residence of the Supreme Patriarch or leader of the Thai Buddhist monks.

Wat Phrananchoeng today, as part of the Ayutthaya Historical Park , the temple is a popular tourist attraction and Wat Phra Si San Phet , temple of the Holy, Splendid Omniscient was the holiest temple on the site of the old Royal Palace in Thailand's ancient capital of Ayutthaya 

 until the city was completely destroyed by the Burmese in 1767.It was the grandest and most beautiful temple in the capital and it served as a model for Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok .

Lunch at local restaurant ( own option ) 

After lunch drive to Sukhothai World Heritage via Lopburi  visit The King Narai's Palace built by King Narai the Great, the king who ruled Ayutthaya from 1656 to 1688. He ordered the palace built in 1666 . King Narai stayed here for about 8–9 months a year, except during the rainy season. He designated Lopburi as the second capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The palace was a place for relaxation, hunting, administering the country's affairs, and welcoming official visitors . 

Then further to Phitsanulok stop is made at Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat , known among the locals as “ Wat Yai ”, was founded in 1357 by King Phaya Lithai ( King Maha Thammaradscha  of Sukhothai ) . The temple is very famous because it has golden Buddha image name “ Phra  Phuttha Chinnarat ”. 

In addition many Thai people considered to be the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand. 

18.00hrs. : Arrive Sukhothai check in hotel and free at leisure time . Dinner at hotel ( own option )

Day 2 :  Sukhothai UNESCO World Heritage Site – Lampang ( B )  ( private tour ) 

07.30hrs. : Breakfast and check out . Visit  Sukhothai World Heritage was the capital of the first Kingdom of Siam in the 13th an 14th centuries .  Sukhothai Historical Park is Thailand's historical heritage which could date back to the dawn of the Kingdom. Listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, the ancient town of Sukhothai was the former capital of the Thai Kingdom and praised for its prosperity. Known as a center of administration, religion, and economic .

Visit the ancient ruins at Sukhothai Historical Park . Biking to Wat Sri Chum with it’s gigantic Buddha statue , taking bike which highlight . Continue drive to Si Satchanalai . The Si Satchanalai Historical Park  is a historical park in Si Satchanalai district, Sukhothai Province, northern Thailand. The park covers the ruins of Si Satchanalai and Chaliang. Si Satchanalai, which literally means "City of good people", was founded in 1250 as the  second center of Sukhothai Kingdom and a residence of the crown prince in the 13th and 14th centuries. 

Lunch at local restaurant ( own option ) . Then leaving Sukhothai to Lampang , check in hotel and free time .

Overnight in Lampang at Lampang River Lodge 3.5* or similar

Day 3 : Lampang – Chiang Mai ( B ) ( private tour ) 

08.00hrs. : After breakfast and check out.Today you will visit the most sacred and renowned temples in Lampang and must see when you visit Lampang  “ Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang “ 

( Unseen Thailand ) and Wat Pong Sanuk ( UNESCO's World Heritage )  . Experienced on horse carriage riding for 30mins. enjoy city scenery .

Lunch at local restaurant ( own option ) . Then drive to Chiang Mai would take around 1hr. enjoy mountainous scenery and beauty nature along the way. 

When arrive in Chiang Mai your first visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep , the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai and renowned as Chiang Mai’s land mark which containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha . A panoramic view of the city can be seen from here at 3,400 feet above sea level and continue to Wat Phra Singh

( A.D.1345 ) housing a very old and sacred Buddha image  . 

18.00hrs. : Check in hotel and free at leisure time . Dinner own option .

Overnight in Chiang Mai at Kantary Hills Chiang Mai 4* or similar

             
Day 4: Mae Taman Elephant Camp – Elephant Riding – Ox Cart – Bamboo Rafting  ( B/L ) ( joined tour SIC ) 

08.30hrs. :  Pick up from the hotel and spend about an hour drive along a pleasant  and scenic road to the northern part of Chiang Mai.

09.30hrs. :  Arrive Mae Taman Elephant Camp situated on the bank of the Mae Tang River.

09.45hrs. :  Start a full day trip by watching the Elephant’s bathing enjoying themselves with the mahouts in the river which is lovely and fun!

10.00hrs. :  Then, a show of how these magnificent animals working in the timber industry by pushing, dragging and rolling logs in unison at the command of their mahouts. Also many activities are being performed to show their talent and intelligence for instances playing soccer, game, massage and even draw such a                               beautiful painting of abstract, trees, flowers or even picture of themselves.

10.45hrs. :  It’s now a time for an exciting 30-40 minutes Elephant ride crossing the river and climbing hills into the lush jungle. You’ve got to “swing with the sway” as you rumble and thrash along…and hang on tight folks. ( Elephants are very sure-footed animals).  

12.00hrs. :  Then experience 15 minutes Ox-Cart riding back to the camp.

12.15hrs. :  A Buffet lunch is provided at the restaurant inside the camp.  

13.00hrs :   After lunch, enjoy about an hour (depend on water level) Bamboo rafting trip on the placid Mae Tang River. Usually glide along during a Summer time when the river is quite shallow.  Relax & enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Tang River. 

14.00hrs. :  Finish a rafting trip and Further to the Orchid Farm on route back to the city. 

14.45hrs. :  Stop at an Orchid Nursery and Butterfly Farm filled with more than 50 different varieties of gorgeous orchid blooms in a dazzling array of colures.  There is a superb collection of exotic butterflies to dazzle and bewitch you.

15.15hrs. :  Transfer back to town.

16.00hrs. :   Return back to hotel . Free at leisure time .

Day 5 : Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai by Road Trip – Mae Sai Border – Golden Triangle  ( B/L ) ( joined tour SIC ) 

07.00hrs. :   Start from the hotel in Chiang Mai driving along a wildly route via Doi  Saket through scenic hills, valleys and villages. 

08.15hrs. :  A short break is made at Mae Khachan Hot Spring.  

10.30hrs. :  Visit White Temple. Wat Rong Khun is one of a considerable number of religious places in Chiang Rai. Originating from the great devotion of renowned Thai artist, Chalermchai Kosipipat the temple is dedicated to Lord Buddha with the intention to construct an attainable paradise on earth representing                                      righteousness and the encouragement of good karma. With regard to outstanding quality in art and tremendously elaborate architecture, the consecrated assembly hall in Wat Rong Khun is different from any other temple in terms of having both carved gable apexes and tooth-like ridges. 

                    The hall itself is mostly constructed in pure white, illustrative of the Buddha’s purity. Glittering clear-mirrored glass serves as the Awakened One’s wisdom shining over the earth and the universe. Together with these elements, there are sophisticated murals by Chalermchai himself that should not be missed.

11.30hrs. :  Proceed to Chiang Rai province.

12.30hrs. :  Visit Long neck and Hill tribe.  Lunch at local restaurant included

14.30hrs. :  Further drive along the Mekong’s River Bank to The World Renowned, Golden Triangle, the mystery land in the past related to the Drug Trade and lunch at the local restaurant.

15.30hrs. :  Enjoy with the boat trip along Mae Khong River around Laos’ Island .

17.00hrs. :  Head back to Chiang Mai.

21.00hrs. :  Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Dinner own option .
